My sister and brother-in-law are from Canada and they spend about 5 months a year in Florida. They are escaping the snow and cold weather of course, but both are avid golfers and walkers so they really enjoy Florida. We usually visit with them for a few weeks every winter.
LoL, I think Florida is the destination for most seniors who are retired and moving to another state. You certainly don’t have to deal with the snow and ice and there are golf courses all over the place.
I have to agree with there FinallyASenior! I live in Florida and there are a LOT of retirees here. I don’t blame them though. I wouldn’t want to have to put up with all that snow and ice. Give me the nice warm sunshine.
