In-Home Respite Care may also include the following services: companionship, homemaker, and assistance with activities of daily living. Skilled care services may also be available for those patients with medical needs.
Out-of-Home Respite Care service in Ohio allows the caregiver or the family member to leave the patient at a care facility outside of the home. The same type of services in the In-Home Respite Care apply, however, family members will need to bring their loved one to the actual care facility.
