How many times have you heard people say stress makes a person age faster? I bet you must have heard this several times, right? It’s true though, however, everyone has stress in his or her lives. Be sure to see your doctor once a year for a physical exam. It’s not good to assume you’re in great shape just because you are not feeling anything. A preventive check-up could save your life. Remember, prevention is the best medicine.

7. Be involved in your community.

Try to find ways to help your community. This will not only help you stay active but it will also add meaning to your life. You can be involved in different ways, whether by doing volunteer work, teaching a local workshop or simply being active in community events.

8. Laugh.
